The Acute Care Configuration (ACC) Package is easy to clean and disinfect, which makes it perfect for use in large care facilities. Wheelchairs are high-touch surfaces and it’s best to clean them often. This package also enhances the wheelchair’s appearance, creating a seamless and professional look. Some care facilities choose to standardize the appearance of their wheelchairs with matching ACC packages. This package can also help color code your wheelchairs by department, floor, or ward. The ACC package is available on all Broda Positioning Wheelchairs.

Accute Care (ACC)

The Additional Positioning Padding (APP) package is a modular cushion system that attaches quickly and securely to Broda wheelchairs. Broda uses high-specification foam and covers the cushions in a four-way stretch, breathable, waterproof fabric. The APP package works exclusively with Broda wheelchairs and optimizes individual immersion, alignment, and pressure redistribution by working in harmony with our Comfort Tension Seating®. The APP package is available for ALL Broda Positioning and Pedal wheelchairs. You can purchase the Additional Positioning Padding (APP) package as part of your Broda wheelchair order, but you can also purchase the components separately.

Designed for use with Broda positioning wheelchairs, the Broda Huntington’s Special Padding (HSP) package helps to prevent patient injury. Our HSP package is an excellent tool for treating patients with varying degrees of complex needs.

The HSP Package supports individuals living with Huntington’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease), multiple sclerosis (MS), Alzheimer’s disease, and other forms of dementia.

The Slim Posture Padding (SPP) package attaches quickly and securely to the Broda wheelchairs. This low-profile modular seating system is made with high-specification foam and covered with 4-way stretch, breathable waterproof fabric. The streamlined design allows for ergonomic self-propulsion with feet and maintains a low seat surface height found with Pedal Wheelchairs. Designed exclusively to work with Broda wheelchairs, the Slim Posture Padding (SPP) package helps optimize individual immersion, alignment and pressure redistribution by working in harmony with our exclusive Comfort Tension Seating®.
