Clip slings are used with patient lifts to safely support and transfer a person between a bed, wheelchair, commode, or other seating surface.

The clip slings are used in combination with DPS (Dynamic Positioning System) spreader bar, a system that allows the caregiver to position the resident or patient in the sling – from upright to reclined without needing to do so manually, helping to reduce physical caregiver effort.
